I know I have… Let me introduce Toggl Track, an amazing app specifically designed to track time for “better work, not overwork.” I know what you are thinking: “ life will be so much easier. No more sticky notes and overwhelming schedules”. That’s right. Instead of that, Toggl users will be able to see much clearer with organized schedules.

 

Let’s dive deeper into the magic of Toggl Track. Toggl Track is a time tracking software headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia. The co-founders ran a software consultancy, and they were struggling with keeping track of projects and the time spent on them. And tada… Toggl was born in early 2006. The main idea was to help freelancers and teams of any size effortlessly track time. Time tracking, reporting, project & revenue tracking, team scheduling & managing are all the features that this app can offer. Toggl Track can track apps through mobile apps, desktop apps, and anywhere on the web with Chrome and Firefox browsers extensions. Honestly, you really do have everything in one package here. The sign-up process is very convenient. You can sign up via Google, Apple, or your email. You can create a profile in less than a minute. Is it not that easy? What’s also good about this app is that users seem to love it; it has a 4.8 stars rating on App Store. When it comes to pricing, Toggl Track offers terrific deals. I know we all love to hear the word “free” (and Toggl knows too), so they created a plan that costs $0 annually for up to five users.

Also, for the first 30 days, you can enjoy the Premium features of Toggl Track even if you have the free plan. If you want to take your business to the next level and have a bigger team, Toggl has plans for all kinds of wishes. There are three more plans: Starter, Premium, and Enterprise, where the price varies. All plans come with a free 30-day trial of Toggl Track Premium—no credit card required, which I know sounds charming. Do you also get a little less enthusiastic when these different websites ask for your credit card? Well, there are a lot of them that require a credit card; however, Toggl is not one of them. Another bonus is that if you enroll in an annual plan instead of a monthly plan, you can save 10%. Successful companies like Amazon, Pwc, Uber, LinkedIn have been trusted users of Toggl Track.

Ilia Markov is the Director of Marketing at Toggl Track. We asked him some questions regarding his experience with this app and his favorite features. He gave us some great insights and shared his thoughts with us. He said, “I love looking at reports to understand how I spend my workdays and what I can do to cut out unnecessary tasks. Internally, we use the billable rates feature to mark work that is an investment in long-term growth vs. day-to-day things like meetings.”

How does Toggl Track compare to competitors? There is a great number of apps out there that help you track time and offer similar features as Toggl Track. As seen on the chart below, Toggl Track has the highest rating amongst the other apps, and it offers great pricing compared to other competitors. All of the apps listed below provide free trials for 14 or 30 days. Basecamp seems the most expensive out of all of them with a $99/month price. Based on the reviews, QuickTime Books offer better service at support than Toggl Track. However, the App Store ratings show that consumers love Toggl Track and would recommend it to other businesses.
